Chipwich became an international sensation in 1981 when founder Richard LaMotta introduced Chipwich as the first truly premium frozen novelty intended for adults as well as kids.

Since then, over one billion Chipwich's have been purchased all over the world. Today, Chipwich remains a perennial best seller.

In 2003, we will expand distribution of Chipwich for the first time to supermarkets across the U.S., with new flavors including Mint Chocolate Chip, with delicious dark chocolate cookies.

Totally new Chipwich varieties will include Chipwich Light, with far less fat and calories and Chipwich No Sugar Added, the first ever chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich rolled in chocolate chips made with no added sugar. The old favorite will still be available as Chipwich Regular in Vanilla, Chocolate and Mint flavors.

To make this national roll-out as sensational as the original Chipwich launch in 1981, Chipwich founder Richard LaMotta will conduct a nation-wide media tour in the U.S., while awarding free college scholarship grants through the Eskimo Pie Chipwich Foundation.

The Eskimo Pie name will now be on all Chipwich products, making Chipwich part of a family of products consumers have loved for more than 80 years.
